Flow
This energetic practice works on strength and fluidity to strengthen as well as relax your body. In this class, you learn how to master your breath while moving. This class is designed to build your physical strength, become embodied and help you find deep relaxation in flow.
Yin Slow Flow
Yin yoga is intense bliss. Through lying poses, we work on stretching the connective tissue, restoring energy flow and releasing tension. Each pose is held for about 3 to 5 minutes with the help of props. The intention of this practice is to create space, not only in the body, but also in the mind. Targeted breathing exercises guide you into a deep inner peace and help your nervous system to recover. Perfect for those who want to meet themselves in softness.
Yin Yang Yoga
The best of both worlds. In this hour-and-a-half class, we combine the dynamic, energetic movement of Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga with the calm, deep stretches of Yin Yoga. The class starts with a powerful sequence to get the energy flowing and strengthen the body. Somewhere halfway we transition into soothing poses that open the connective tissue and calm the mind. This class is a journey from tension to relaxation: from strength to softness. You build physical strength, while learning to relax deeply and rebalance your energy. By combining the two styles, you create a powerful symbiosis of body and mind, perfect for those looking for both challenge and recovery.
Ayurveda Yoga
Ayurveda is an ancient healing system from India that uses natural and holistic approaches to keeping your mind, body and spirit healthy. It places great emphasis on prevention and aims to balance our energy, mind and body with proper food, movement, rituals and the use of herbs according to a your constitution. In the ayu-yoga sessions I work with rituals, pranayama, asana, meditation, mudras and ethical living practices to help you find balance and health.
